The USMP becomes the only Latin American institution receiving this prize annually awarded to organizations who have utilized the tools of mass communication to promote the principles of peace, social justice, cultural understanding and ethical practice of public relations for the last 36 years.
From this March 11 begin the registrations for the 21st edition of the IPRA Golden World Awards, the premier awards for excellence in public relations.
The main task of the Latin American branch of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA LATAM CHAPTER) is to integrate professionals from the region with forefront and new trends in PR practice in the global frame of the 21st century. The activities and events that the IPRA LATAM CHAPTER will develop lead to train public relations professionals that are leaders in organizational communication, highly familiarized with the real and close trend situation of the region, marked by the delicate interaction between private extractive companies and native communities; the adequate structuring of communicational plans to address crisis and appropriately solve potential confrontation situations, among others.
